  • We teach absolute beginners all the way through to competition riders looking for a tune up.
  • If you are looking for discipline specific training in an area not of our expertise, we will happily refer you onward.

  • We focus on creating a strong classical dressage foundation as it teachers body control of the horse as well as finely tuned aids in order to have a responsive horse. 
  • We then branch out to Showjumping, leisure riding or other English disciplines.

Do you provide a lesson horse?

  • All clients must wear an EA approved (current standard) helmet during riding lessons.
  • All clients must wear enclosed shoes, with a smooth sole and a small heel, eg. English or western riding boots.

  • We generally do not provide a lesson horse, unless we have already completed a first assessment lesson in which case we may per our discretion provide lessons on one of our competition Schoolmasters.
  • Our main focus is training people to work with their own horse, bettering their partnership, and supporting their shared progress.

  • We mostly offer off-property lessons, conducted on your property / agistment, or public riding area. There must be a relatively flat area to use, that is free from; machinery, holes, metal/plastic debris, away from other animals.
  • Lessons on-property are available in Wallaroo, contact us if interested. 
  • We also offer lessons virtually, via zoom, or video assessments,

  • To sum up a complex situation; in cases where a horse has become a "problem horse" there is a large checklist that is gone through to assess if the horse needs any intervention due to pain, and if nothing appears then behaviour remodelling training will begin. 
  • Cases that are unsuccessful are refunded. Success being defined by visible positive improvement or finding the cause of the issue.

  • We can take horses/ponies in for  training, starting undersaddle, or sale. Starting from 1.5yo we offer a positive introduction to groundwork and tack. From 3yo onwards we offer full starting-under-saddle.
  • We offer high quality care so your horse returns looking their best, with regular updates we ensure your peace of mind. We welcome you to visit your horse at any time. At highly competitive prices.

  • We conduct mostly 1-on-1 lessons as we have found that to be the most efficient to maximise progress. It allows for the fully personalised teaching with minimal distraction, ideal for the safety of children.
  • In the case of 2 riders of similar capability, semi-private lessons are available at a discounted rate. 
  • Clinics are also available.

  • Coach Steph is bilingual, fluently speaking English and Spanish- she is able to conduct lessons in Spanish.
  • You are welcome to bring an interpreter if needed during the appointment. 
  • If you require a carer they are also welcome.

Terms of service

Disrespectful or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated towards any of our staff members or clients. 

  • All dangerous horse behaviour is to be stated upfront before services are rendered in order to keep us and the client/horse safe. Knowingly hiding relevant information may result in being barred from future service.
  • If the weather conditions are predicted to be unsafe during your appointment time then the appointment will be rescheduled.
  •  If sudden lameness/injury has occurred to your horse please contact us immediately so we can reschedule the appointment.
  • Payment is to be made in full upon booking the service or on the day of the service.
  • We pride ourselves on being an accessible business, we welcome all races, ethnicities, religions, sexualities, genders, and neurodivergence. If you require any accomodations during your appointment with us please contact us to discuss how to best support you. All communications are in either English or Spanish, you are welcome to bring a translator if required.


Refunds will not be given for cancelations within 48 hours of the appointment. If extenuating circumstances occur, then at our discretion, we may elect to refund, or reschedule with no additional cost.

Refunds will only be given if at least 48 hours notice is given prior to the appointment.
